Rodrigo Garnica vs. Pablo Melgar

The Fillmore Boxing Club's Rodrigo Garnica competed at the Eddie Heredia Boxing Show on Saturday, August 27th 2011. In a highly competitive bout Garnica lost a close decision to Pablo Melgar from LA Boxing Torrance. You can see the match in the video below. Garnica will be preparing to compete for his next match in September in San Fernando.

Coronation of the 155 lb. Champion!

Congratulations to the Combat Fight League's new 155 lb. Champion, Fillmore's own Jose 'Froggy' Estrada. Estrada won a unanimous victory and captured the title at the CFL's Coronation series on Friday, August 26th at the Warner Center Marriott in Woodland Hills. Estrada joins his brother Francisco 'Turtle' Estrada who is the CFL's 145 lb. Champion as a CFL title holder.
